Dr. Andrew Ray grew up in a suburb of Atlanta, GA, where he enjoyed playing basketball, competitive swimming, and any outdoor activity. As an identical twin, Dr. Ray also enjoyed switching places with his twin and seeing if or when people would notice.

After graduating High School, Dr. Ray attended Brigham Young University on academic scholarship, graduating with honors and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Neuroscience and minors in both Chemistry and Business Management. After four years of Dental School at the University of Utah School of Dentistry, he then returned to Georgia to complete an Orthodontic Residency at the Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University.

Dr. Ray is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, choosing to go through this rigorous process because he feels it necessary to hold himself to the highest level of commitment to his patients, as well as the orthodontic profession. As such, he is dedicated to the highest level of patient care and has demonstrated the skills, judgment, and knowledge necessary to ensure quality work and results. Dr. Ray regularly attends numerous training and education seminars to ensure that he can provide the best care available at our San Antonio, TX, orthodontist offices. He looks forward to providing you with excellent orthodontic treatment.

Dr. Ray married his wife Hannah back in 2018. In 2021 they welcomed their first child, a little girl who has ruled the house ever since. When they have free time, they love exploring new areas as a family.
